Elderberries

Elderberry season is late July to mid August.

OzBF has three varieties of Elderberries.  These have been developed over the years for commercial and private use trying to develop the best variety of the many that grow in the wild.  Ours include Adams-York, Wildwood and Gordon.

If you do not have experience with picking, processing or consuming elderberries it is best you do some research.  Unlike like other fruits elderberries should not be consumed raw and require heating/cooking.  There are lots of good elderberry recipes and how to process videos on the internet.
